What would you do when they ban cryptocurrencies?
Governments thinking of banning cryptocurrencies all together.
Strikt regulation rules, draconian (US) tax laws on trading and banks refusing money from cryptobrokers.
Someone is obviously afraid here. They, in power, will try anything to stop this cryptotrain in motion. Question is will they succeed?
I guess that depends on us.
This is what happens for instance when you presents a crypto currency on ‘prinjesdag’ (when our government present there economical plans) in The Netherlands.
A summary:
Lawyer presents a new cryptocurrency, suddenly he and all people there are surrounded by a dozen cops and detained for 3 hours with no explanation.
Even if they do start a mass ban, they will just move more on the dark web. There is no stopping cryptos
If we agree cryptos have value, they do. As long as we don't try to exchange them for fiat currencies and instead exchange them among each other for services provided (like surplus solar energy, or any other service or product we are wuilling to accept a certain coin for') we will be fine and governments won't be able to do anything about it. Is what I think , personally.
