Hello Steemit Friends, today I came across quite a few people promoting a new exchange call Upcoin, saying that new user will get USD500 free, its pretty tempting at the first glance, but I do not believe anyone will give up USD500 for free because he would bankrupt easily by doing that, so I go to Bitcointalk forum to check whats going on

After reading all 6 pages, I finally figured out that the money cannot be taken out, its just for you to deduct your transaction fee if you ever trading on their exchange. Not only that, they also have a referral program where they give the user even more “money that cannot be taken out” if they refer their friends. Sound crazy? However by using this marketing strategy they have successfully gathered more than 430k users in 6 days, so this marketing tactic is really working and I am amazed by it, probably I will use this same tactic also in the future lol
