I had to share today's article from the Coindesk team..
I'm not going to post the article in quotes like my last News blog because that pesky cheetah jagged me for plagiarism! Little bit harsh when the article was posted surrounded by quote tags, but hey what would I know.
First up, fair play to Bitcoin Sign Guy. To have the audacity to pull that one off at a parliamentary testimony from the most influential central banker in the world is EPIC! He got his one minute of fame and $15,000 out of it too.
(We'll just ignore the fact he's going to be royally bent over by the IRS and will now be blacklisted from any sort of political/government job for the rest of his life... There's certainly no room for common sense over here in the crypto space haha.)
Anyway, the one line I wanted to ask a question and generate some discussion in my comments around, was this:
The viral activity spurred several scam attempts, with some accounts posting Photoshopped versions of the original picture with new addresses.
Question: Is this fair game?
Think about who the people that donate (lol) to these sorts of things are.
You're trying to be some smartass 'disrupter of the system' but then want that same system to come back and save you when you're too stupid to be scammed?
Jog on dipshits.
What is your opinion on this particular twist on what I guess you could call a phishing scam.

I heard about this, but didn't knew he got donations out of this act.. quite amusing. This reminds me of a movie - Idiocracy (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0387808/?ref_=nv_sr_2) if you havent watched it yet, just watch for laughs.
