If you haven't already heard, YouTube has recently taken action against Omar, most likely due to aggressive reporting from disgruntled viewers, or those who might see Omar as "competition". We really don't know who did it, but the resulting actions taken by YouTube against Omar's account include:
-The removal of the video that was aggressively reported as containing "inappropriate content".

I absolutely can't stand Youtube anymore... After all every channel contributes for them to have the audacity to require each contributor to have a minimum of 1000 followers to see rewards from your contributions after soooo long is HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!!!

i sympathize with you on youtube sanctioning your channel, but with the recent demonetization issues with youtube dont you think its time to cross over to dtube? its smart to choose decentralized over centralized anytime
We have tried that, but it looks like it's still too soon to depend on dtube for the monetezation of our videos. Omar spent 6 hours trying to complete as simple of a task as uploading a video. It failed on three attempts and Omar ultimately gave up. We wish dtube was the solution, but it seems their site still needs a lot of work. It's not ready for use just yet.
Might be time to move to Dtube.

There must be some method of responding to a ‘strike’ from YouTube, I.e. to complain that it’s not fair and correct, or does the community need to turn up outside Google HQ with banners and placards? 😀
We submitted our video for review, and if YouTube should ever get around to looking at it, and they deem it to be of acceptable content, then they will revoke the strike and reinstate the live stream capability. A social media push might help this speed up this cause, as I've heard it has worked for others before.

Youtube have been doing this to a lot of people over the last 12 months, seems the google side of them is really showing now, I stopped using both a long time ago, for obvious reasons.
Youtube is practically begging everyone to switch to steemit and dtube.
