As cryptocurrency keeps growing and so many waiting and anticipating the bull run, it is best to take some time to think "what happens if the so much expected bull did not get to run in Q4 of 2018?" Been having this funny question until a friend actually mentioned same.
There has been so much talk around big institutional investors coming into Cryptocurrency, despite all these news the market capitalization seems not to be seeing significant changes, also so many projects have had to shift date for their platform launch or ICO token sale launch to a "supposed better date" within the 2018 Q4.

Not until when we see individuals willing to buy crypto with their $5 or $100 we may not see Cryptocurrency becoming mainstream. Majority of the world population are those within the middle and the lower class who cannot afford big-bag investment but seeing their pennies in Crypto could help increase the market cap considerably and the market always active.
In reality, the above could not be achieved until cryptocurrency education is taking away or have a shift in attention from the big investors conferences to meet-ups, advocacies, road shows and other campaigns targeting the wide masses who could not afford the heavy bags. The best of education devoid of scams and ponzi schemes, getting them to realize what cryptocurrency is and the usefulness will enable cryptocurrency go mainstream and could gradually set the pace for the expected dominance over Fiat.
