Quoting the above "AMD also added that the beta engine will not be supported in terms of additional updates, upgrades and crash fixes." Well what happens when you have it crash! Guess your Shi*out of Luck !
According to TechPowerUp, the engine seems to be a successful solution to the "DAG" problem, and there is only a small difference between mining different sizes of "DAG". By comparison, there is an 81 per cent increase in the ash rate of DAG 199 mining using the new program compared to AMD's old Radeon RX Vega 64 8GB (1546 MHz / 945 MHz) engine. Many Reddit users have also seen the new engine's effectiveness. A user called "Hot-Diggity-Daffodil" claimed that the rate of ash in his ethereum mining had risen from 31 to 37 m / s when he used the beta program. Despite the efficiency of the engine by releasing the beta in enhancing the performance of the ethereum mining platforms, this will be futile when the ethereum platform moves from the proof system by working to the rationing system. If this occurs, the use of GPUs in mining will be practically eliminated for that currency.
