Drip, drip, drip... cryptocurrency faucets

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago

I'm a newbie in the cryptocurrency world. To be blunt, Steemit.com is my training wheels in that regard. Looked up bitcoin mining, but it seems the phase where individuals could mine for themselves has passed in favor of dedicated computers and pools of people.

For those with little budgets, the faucet method of collecting small sums (which add up after a while) is a vastly affordable way to get one's hands on some cryptocurrency. The general idea is the redistribution of ad revenue which means that every faucet site I've stumbled upon has an array of irritating ads.

The basic idea is that the faucet "leaks" little amounts of whatever cryptocurrency it's focused on (there are faucets for bitcoin, etherium, so on and so forth); today I'm focusing on bitcoin and etherium with my links.

Some faucets operate on a "lucky draw" idea which determines how much you're awarded whereas others use .

that one collects via completion of a Captcha problem at timed intervals (collect every Five, Fifteen, Sixty minutes)...

Some sites permit immediate cash out to a specified wallet service they've partnered with or one must wait until they've met the minimum threshold required before cashing out to their wallet of choice.

If you're interested in tapping from the ever-flowing font of free cryptocurrency, here's some places to start. Mind you, it's akin to walking in a parking lot and picking up pennies.
