Cryptocurrency and its underlying technology, the Blockchain have found their place in the modern world.
Proof, big companies are scrambling to adopt them, the latest is Kodak, which is preparing to launch its own cryptocurrency carried by an ICO.
Kodak is one of the leaders in photography since its creation in the 1880s. It must develop towards new technologies in order to diversify; this is why the American giant has decided to embark on the world of cryptocurrency.
Kodak has just announced the creation of its new platform called KodakOne which will be based on the trend technology of the moment, the Blockchain. Serving mainly to protect photographers and artists, this platform will allow users to manage images and copyrights. Each user will be able to save their works on KodakOne and manage the permissions themselves on the platform.
In addition to being an image management device, the KodakOne platform will also have its associated cryptocurrency, KodakCoin. It will be used as a means of payment for photographers and artists who, once their works are licensed, will receive Kodak digital currency.

the KodakCoin project will be financed by an ICO, a fundraising event that will start on **January 31st **and will be reserved for investors from a few countries including the United States, Canada or the United Kingdom.
