Monaco (MCO) jumps 36% thanks to bitFlyer debit card news
Yesterday morning Crypto Debit Card token Monaco (MCO) jumped 36% in value from the lows of $6.66 to above $9. Whilst the altcoin market bled out during Bitcoin's bull run, MCO is now at $8.15 and maintaining a 22% gain from the lows of yesterday.
With news that one of Japans most well-known exchanges, bitFlyer, will be issuing Bitcoin Debit cards, this appears to have renewed interest in Monaco. Not forgetting the knock-on effect of Bitcoin's price increase also helping it's cause.
After reaching the highs of $25 at the end of August this year, MCO faced a difficult September starting with a heavy price correction followed by Visa withdrawing Bitcoin card services, that Monaco as well as other crypto debit card schemes rely on.
As Bitcoin and altcoins continue to reach the mainstream public, the future is looking brighter again for the self-described "best cryptocurrency card"* that aims to bring bitcoin debit card adoption to the masses.
Whilst news is lacking from MCO developers on how they are getting around the Visa issue, investors appear confident that the long-term value of Monaco will continue to grow.
As long as Bitcoin is rising then MCO shouldn't be too far behind.
