"Bitcoin is too volatile” is code for I don’t know how to spot opportunities to make money.
"Bitcoins are not backed by anything" is code for I prefer ‘fiat currency’ which is absolutely not backed by anything.
‘Trading Bitcoin is like gambling” is code for I’m too afraid to take risks, while I’m betting on horses, the lottery, casino etc.
"Bitcoins are unregulated” is codeword for I’m quite happy with all the regulations the banking world have enslaved me with so far.
"The markets are manipulated" is code for I need some excuse when I fail and I’m happy with the manipulation in other markets.
