This made me laugh. Most Washington politicians have absolutely no idea how the Internet works. Whether it's Net Neutrality or Bitcoin, they just don't get it... I watched part of the live Zuckerberg/Facebook congressional hearings back in April, and it was absolutely amazing how little they even knew about how Facebook worked... So I'm amused but not surprised that Bitcoin got lumped in with "Russian meddling." They still think the Internet is "a series of tubes":
