Global shipping giant UPS accepts Bitcoin via locker service

UPS has filed a patent with the US patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for an item-exchange locker service. The patent was released on Thursday by USPTO.

The patent describes a system of lockers. Traders will leave the item on the locker and a buyer can pick at will. Parties can rent the locker, for instance. Thus, it will facilitate exchange of ownership of a physical item dealt on a marketplace. An example is an online or traditional marketplace deal.
