RE: Which Cryptocurrencies to Invest In

in #cryptocurrency8 years ago (edited)

Bitcoin may be the biggest hodl win you'll see in your lifetime. Network effect makes it arguably the most secure blockchain. Also bullish on Ethereum even though it has many technical and cultural hurdles ahead of it (but what crypto doesn't right?). Also think Monero and Dash have significant technological advantages. I like NXT even though it's initial distribution wasn't handled so well. It's a great technology though.

Also think Bitshares and Steem are crazy good technology but they have to put the brakes on generating new coins to make the investment sound.

I'm a little out of the loop on Counterparty. I like the currency and it's capabilities but it's suffered from being a bit too slow for transactions. Feel like it's being left behind.

Edit: Forgot to mention Maidsafe and Storj as really promising technologies still in testing phases. When they launch they have the potential to change the face of cloud computing (MAID) and cloud storage (SJCX) the same way Steemit has changed social.

Sort:

They all are great and valuable assets to steemit and bitshares.
