I've recently discovered this gem of a site that can help you if you're a cryptocurrency trader. Previously, I was using Bitfolio on my phone. However, since I do most of my trades on my laptop it becamse pretty hard to track everything via manual input cause there's it's pretty hard to copy and paste things in a mobile phone. There's this alternative of using Android Emulators but that's a lot of work as well.

Altpocket takes care of that for you and goes further - since you're on a desktop copy-pasting is much more convenient. Moreover, altpocket can utilize API keys from Bittrex or Poloniex and import all your trades automatically, erasing the need of manual inputs and computations. (API Keys can be read-only so I think it's safe to use - altpocket can sometimes get wrong information from your API keys mixing up your numbers and profit calculation - if ever this happens do contact its creator/support people.)

I've tried this site for quite some time but I'm taking a break from trading so I erased all my info and removed my API keys and 2FA (2 Factor Authentication is a hassle to use when you're on mobile and your IP address also keeps changing cause of your data provider). During the times I was using it - it did gave me useful information about my trades and tracking my investments are also easy to the eyes, their UI is great! The only thing I dislike is how they accurately tell me that I lost $30, haha. I have tried both manual entry and bittrex import and I was very satisfied even with some minor hiccups.

The Altpocket team has to be commended for developing their import functionality, simply adding your API keys to the site and then click import, will get your trade information form either bittrex or poloniex.

• It saves you a great deal of time by removing the need for manual entries.
• Verifies your transactions, investments, etc.
• Adds a "Trusted" characteristic to your portfolio.

Unique investment system

The UI of their Investment page is so far - the best I've seen in these kind of websites - they separate transactions and seamlessly show them on your page.

• Information is fully loaded onto an investment box in a very efficient way.
• It's simplicity makes it easier to understand.
• The interface is unique and beautiful, and has tons of functions.
• They have 2 different investment views that you can utilize.

Day & Night theme

Warriors of the night rejoice! They have this nicely colored and designed night theme you can use (it's also something I prefer).

• The interface is very pleasant on the eyes and is easy to navigate.
• Color choices are great and is designed well.

A bright future

Altpocket is in good hands, Altpocket launched in May 2017 and a lot has changed since then. Here is what is coming soon:

If I have more time this weekend, I'll make tutorials how to do manual inputs for fake and real trading that can be useful for beginner traders, as well as importing API keys for Bittrex and navigating through their page. Altpocket has proven itself useful for me and I'm sure many Steemians will be interested in using it as well.
