I don't see any arguments towards Bitcoin Gold beeing a scam...
The downside of bitcoin gold is the team behind it, but that can change with time given the premise that mining with gpu's is more efficient, quite a powerful argument, given that most crypto currencies are behind that, these days.
You can only mine a few dinosaurs using ASIC mining.
