My money making idea for today - buy Qtum on Yunbi exchange (start time = 20:00 - UTC +8)
Why watch it closely
Qtum had collected 15.6 million USD back in March this year when Bitcoin was traded at around 1000$:
http://www.the-blockchain.com/2017/03/24/qtum-shatters-ico-records-raising-15-6-million/
They offered 51 000 000 (51%) tokens to early investors. That would account for around 30M market cap. But since bitcoin price surged by 1000$ we must double the worth to 60M.
Yunbi statement:
QTUM official wallet is under development right now. The testnet version will be published in June, and the mainnet version will possibly be released in September. YUNBI will enable QTUM token deposit and withdrawal service once the official wallet released.
Yunbi was one of 6 exchanges which took part in the ICO of Qtum. And Yunbi will enable trading of IOU tokens today at 20:00, May 23rd 2017, UTC +8.IOU market is about trading coins purchased by traders in the ICO and that so far have no own network. Therefore, trading begins hours after ICO and there's no need to wait until coin developers release the network (which often takes months). Or you can just keep the tokens on the balance (like it happens in any ICO) and once the network has been released, withdraw them.
The cheapest offered price (with bonuses) was 0.00026 BTC per 1 Qtum so the minimum price should be around 0.001 BTC which is currently about 2$. So anything around that price would be a great chance to accumulate because most likely this project is going to be valued over MM after commencing on major exchanges in few months from now. I would buy it up to 30-40% premium above 0.001 BTC.
Buying IOU - risks and reward
IOU is what it is. I Owe You. That means that it's only a promise and you have to believe in an entity which is offering you this promise. But in the crypto world (and in reality too in fact) if it's risky and the entry point is high enough, complicated it discourages people from investing the money. And less invested money means less demand and lower price. And if everything is ok afterwards, the ones who had invested are reaping the sweet profits. You can take DECENT IOU as an example, I was able to buy it 2 months ago for 0.00025 and now it is traded for 0.001 on Liqui.
What is Qtum?
Qtum tokens (QTUM) are the cryptographic software tokens used to engage with distributed applications and smart contracts on the Qtum platform and will serve as the staking token for the Qtum blockchain, as well as fuel for computational operations performed by the Qtum network.
Qtum belongs to the group of tokens which claim to be the next Ethereum and want to introduce some features making them much more useful than their predecessor. In the cryptocurrency world ETH is already a old technology with it's drawbacks. Other tokens like Qtum are Tezeos and BOScoin:
