Crypto Arbitrage

Hot Topic

Everybody and their grandmothers are talking about cryptos. Bitcoin this and bitcoin that. It really is amazing what revolution this technology caused. Some people see it as a get rich quick scheme, some others as revolutionary technology that will change the world.

Me? Sure the tech is great, who doesn't like an idea of decentralized services and everybody wants to get rich, no? I am sure, some people don't give a crap about money but we all live in the same world with pretty much the same rules and to play this game that is life comfortably, you need money. This is why we work, no?

Anyways, arbitrage, what is it ? It's an exploit of difference in prices between exchanges. There are dozens of exchanges and the price difference can be enormous. Even 10% at times.

So what's the problem, bro?

The problem is these exchanges are mafia. Unregulated bunch of mafiozos, just like banksters or sports books. Sure some are legit, but most aren't. The fees are atrocious and I wouldn't trust them with any more money than I give my daughter to get some ice cream.

Arbitrage is buying here and selling there  ... which means you will have to move FIAT funds at some point, and that's the problem. Too expensive, too slow and too shady.

Figure that one out? Get rich quick.

Bonus topic for your research:

- triangular arbitrage can be done between three currencies on one single exchange

Good luck.
