Hashflare Ending Bitcoin Cloud Mining

In an email this morning I was alerted that my cloud mining contracts for BTC have been stopped due to unprofitability. What does this mean for the network? Well honestly we may be seeing the beginning of moment when the sustainability of the network as a whole will be tested. One thing for certain as services shut down the rewards for those remaining will increase but will that increase be enough to cover electricity and maintenance in the long term?
