Payment Processing Service Coinbase Now Supporting USDC


The cryptocurrency payment processor Coinbase Commerce will now be supporting Circle’s Stablecoin USD Coin (USDC).


Coinbase Commerce users can now accept USDC payments with no transactions fees and without geographical limitations our interacting with traditional bank.


Coinbase states that with the use of USDC users will be able to experience the advantages of using cryptocurrencies without being expose to erratic price fluctuations or price volatility of crypto like bitcoin.


Coinbase Commerce was launch early 2018 as a service that allowed merchants to accept multiple cryptocurrencies.


The application can be integrated into the checkout flow of merchants or a payment option on major e-commerce platforms.

The concept of stablecoins is interesting. I see them helping people bridge to real cryptocurrency when the time is right

Yes indeed the only problem is to ensure that these stablecoins are really backed by what they claimed to be. The entry to facebook with is GlobalCoin initiative would bring legitimacy to this space.
