The Cambodian government has paradoxically banned financial institutions from engaging in cryptocurrency transactions.

At the same time, they're trying to create their own cryptocurrency, Entapay. This whole situation has created a state of confusion for the country’s cryptocurrency entrepreneurs.

2- Coinbase Releasing A Cryptocurrency Tax Calculator

One of the most well-known cryptocurrency buying platforms, Coinbase, has launched a new gain/loss calculating tool as part of an effort to help its user base keep up with U.S. tax requirements.

The tool comes with a few caveats, however, namely that it's primarily aimed at users who have bought and sold on Coinbase exclusively - and isn't recommended for those who have purchased digital assets elsewhere or participated in an initial coin offering.

3- Thailand’s SEC; Crypto Market Regulations On March

Thailand is set to draft legislation that would oversee cryptocurrency trading with the view of taxing the crypto market in the country.

According to Nathporn Chatusripitak, a government spokesman, Thai Ministry of Finance’s impetus for the proposition of new crypto regulation stems from a desire to prevent money laundering and fraud using cryptocurrencies. The new regulations are expected to be released “later this month.”

The third largest electric utilities provider in Japan has partnered with Internet of Things (IoT) in order to experiment with the possibility of using Blockchain technology to record the charging of electric vehicles.

Japan is one of the leaders in the world when it comes to implementing new technology. So, it's not a surprise The Chubu Electric Power Company has picked up on the possibility to implement blockchain to their electric car charging systems.

Some interesting news today, Coinbase launching a tax calculator that can only be used if you've not used any other cryptocurrency buying platform/exchange? Also, I would definitely like to get an electric car and charge it using Bitcoin! Am I the only one who finds that cool? I hope not...

The markets are mostly red. Only major gainers are Binance coin, Populous, some random crypto called 'Bitmark', and of course, my favorite, Substratum :)! Whats your opinion on these cryptos, and the whole market right now?
