My Ether Wallet: a summary

My Ether Wallet is an online ethereum wallet that can connect to different nodes, the wallet allows you to store ethereum and ERC-20 tokens (tokens from ICO, airdrops etc)

It features different ways to open your wallet, different nodes, a manual that describes the site and different security measures to using the wallet safely

The website has a nice UI, but on the phone, half of it won't be visible. You can also add a token that isn't on the list of the current added tokens. The other advantage is that you can choose how much you want to pay for gas fees, but the less you pay in gas fees, the longer you have to wait for it to arrive.

The disadvantages is quite shocking, since they don't have a very good security, they have been a target of hackers. Which is why they put secure methods to open your wallet without fear of funds being stolen.

And they have been into some controversy, since one of MyEtherWallet's employees have used MyEtherWallets verified twitter to promote their new wallet called My Crypto. Which has left people wondering if MyEtherWallet is a reliable online wallet, or if it's a potential scam
