This is the first time I am coming across an ICO that is about materials! Building materials. They say ICOs are all about digital, intangible stuff. Here you are: as tangible as it gets; granite, marble, concrete, ceramics. These four industries combined make nearly 600 billion dollars annually. XMaterials has a goal of disrupting all of these four industries.
So what makes XMaterials stand out? They claim to have created better materials using machine learning technology and patent-pending AI generated recipes. And these are the benefits of those materials:

What are AI-generated recipes?
XMaterials has an AI-based software named DigiLab that aggregates millions of combinations of building materials to discover the optimal combinations of ultra-high-density materials for any construction need. So, these recipes are created using DigiLab. Using geo-location technology, XMaterials can find the best combinations of raw materials available near you.
How does XMaterials use machine learning production?
Here comes HypeCon into account. It is a machine-learning platform that completely automates the entire production line process of mixing, casting, drying, final control, and packing products. Best of all, through machine learning, the AI analyzes the product yield and actually improves itself accordingly. With a team of five workers, HyperCon does what a traditional cement company would require a team of 31 trained workers and engineers to accomplish.
Environmentally Sustainable Materials
Their products are 100% recyclable. Compared to ceramic, their energy cost for production is more than 5 times lower.
Franchise Model
XMaterials present their technologies as a franchise: DigiLab Pro, HyperCon, and the Blueprint.
XMaterials token holders (XMAT token) will receive profits based off percentage ownership in the overall token supply. This distribution will be no less than 15% of the net profits.
TOKEN ALLOCATION
Tokens are ERC-20 tokens on the Ethereum blockchain. When XMaterials Holdings makes the Distributions via airdrops, it can track Token ownership via Ethereum.
There will be a maximum of 1.4 billion total Tokens, all of which will be pre-mined. The combined presale and public sale allocation will account for 84% of all Tokens. Presale phase of the Token Launch has a 25% discount and it will get gradually lower. There will also be some Tokens held in treasury/reserve for affiliate and bounty programs, which will account for 5% of all Tokens. In addition, there will be Tokens allocated to the founding team, which will account for 3% of all Tokens. A further 3% of the Tokens will be allocated to advisors. These tokens will be locked up for 6 months after the ICO is completed. The token will be valued at US$0.105. The minimum aggregate Token purchase amount is 1 ETH for the presale and 0.1 ETH for the public sale. For the presale, the team will determine the equivalent price of US$ in Ether (ETH) on a daily basis and peg the Token to that amount of Ether (ETH) for the duration of the day. The subsequent day, the team will do the same process, until the presale phase of the Token Launch has concluded. Same steps for the public sale phase of the Token Launch will be carried out.

I am glad to see such a tangible project getting into the cryptocurrency scene. Since the details of the project are too technical, I advise everyone to read the whitepaper thoroughly, if possible with a materials engineer.
