I am having a hard time reviewing some ICOs and Plaza is one such ICO. Because it has a wide array of goals, numerous use cases, and big ambitions. In summary, it is safe to say Plaza aims to create the next-gen commerce that is based on the blockchain. This new type of next-gen commerce is called Total bCommerce and it will be fueled by Plaza's MerchantChain. They call themselves a systems integration company. This is an accurate description since they have many things going on at once.
Now let's take a closer look at Plaza components one by one:
Plaza Freedom Lifestyle: This is just like a slogan for Plaza, it shows us the main goal of this project; make everything easier and with more freedom for every participant of the platform. It will be easier to browse products and deals on the internet, crypto payments will be safer and faster. As you see on the image above, tps capability of Plaza is 15.000, surpassing many similar projects.
PlazaMarket: I don't know about you but I enjoy metasearch engines. PlazaMarket is a metasearch engine for shopping and will let you search for many types of goods and services. PlazaChatBot will be helping the shopper find what he is looking for and for the best price available. This engine has no bias toward any product. No payment data of the consumer will be collected. Payment is also easy and convenient with the use of PlazaDollars (PL$), the transaction coin.
PlazaConcierge: You have probably heard of Alexa, it is pretty popular nowadays. PlazaConcierge will be an Alexa-enabled smart speaker. It will be your right hand in the Plaza platform. It also has a hardware wallet function.
PlazaCard: To be honest, that is what makes me the most excited about the Plaza project because years passed and we still don't have a crypto payment solution that we can use for our everyday payments. This card lets you make payments at any merchant and it even lets you withdraw money at ATMs.
Plaza Merchants: From a merchant point of view, this is the most important element of Plaza ecosystem since it lets you accept PlazaCard payments. Merchants can also sell entry-level PlazaCard Emerald and do top-ups for the consumer.
PlazaArbitration: This is the dispute solution mechanism that Plaza offers in its ecosystem. Using Plaza Chatbot Arbitrators and Multi-signature Arbitration Smart Contracts any dispute will be solved without unwanted headaches.
As I said at the beginning Plaza is a dense project. It has many arrows pointed at many goals. It is safe to say that competition in commerce is really fierce but at the same time, reward is big. You may probably have heard of Shopify and Magento, they are recent success stories of digital commerce era. But now the era is changing once again, we are entering the era of the blockchain, AI, smart contracts, intelligent assistants, crypto payments, distributed ledgers, incredible transaction speeds etc. Plaza tries to meet all these demands of the new era and comes to change commerce scene for the better.
