Looks like an "eggs in one basket" parable though. Just because it can be hacked - and could even be run by dictators - doesn't mean we should throw out the concept. (Banks can be hacked and robbed too, after all.) I think cryptocurrency is here to stay as long as this civilization lasts. Perhaps it's wise to make sure you don't have too much money tied up in Bitcoin (or any of the others) for too long.
