Looking back on 2018, despite the market being on a downward all year long . Adoption of digital assets remained very strong. I believe it was even a healthy pullback of the market capitalization. Getting rid of bad actors and people just trying to make a quick buck. We shall all be very excited looking ahead, as Bakkt, secured a first round funding for 182.5 million dollars for this huge upcoming institutional bitcoin futures platform. I believe the New York stock exchange is behind this . Which is very good news as we will see Wall Street along with their investors start to pile in on this market. Bank of America is filing numerous blockchain patents like its no tomorrow. Ripples partnerships with all these global banks around the world is insane. but I personally don't get much xrp because its not a crypto its a centralized banker coin. And im passionate on the side of decentralization and replacing banks and third parties from accessing our money as they only make us more poor . But nevertheless, it shall be a very exciting year. I just feel like the US is the slowest country to actually embrace this technology other than exchanges and atms . I believe this year they was make concrete steps in embracing its as a viable payment method and more corporations will start accepting different cryptos . But anyway that's just my two satoshis on the subject.
