Cryptocurrency Terms that every CRYPTO lover must know...

1)HODL
This word was mistakenly typed by a drunken person in a 2013 Bitcointalk thread. "HODL" means that a person believes that their coin will be profitable after "HOLD"ing for a particular time.

2)ALTCOIN
All coins other than Bitcoin is called Altcoin.

3)ATH
ATH-All Time High. This is the highest value that a coin has ever reached.

4)FUD
Fear Uncertainity Doubt. This usually happens when people don't believe in a coin. The price of a coin usually drops due to FUD.

5)FOMO
Fear Of Missing Out. If panic selling is where prices crash because traders acutally freak out, then FOMO is when prices surge upwards because investors are trying to hop on short-term price rallies.

6)BEAR
This means a trader/investor who believes the prices of a particular cryptocurrency will fall and wants to profit from that fall.

7)WHALE
It means a trader with a fat account, usually one who thinks the market will rise the price of any specific cryptocurrency.

8)BAGHOLDER
This is an investor or a trader who has been holding for too long a particular cryptocurrency and now has to face the regrets that decision.

9)TO THE MOON
This refers to the price of a coin that is climbing up and will reach to new heights.

10)ADDY
This refers to the public address or key of a coin.

11)DUMP
To sell off a coin.

12)PUMP
When the price goes up.

13)SHITCOIN
A coin that has no value.

14)ICO
Initial Coin Offering. It's a crowdfunding for a particular coin for it's development. The value of a coin will be low at this stage.
