Hello my fellow steemitians! How are you feeling on the current market? It seems we are seeing a small correction after the sea off green. While Bulls are fighting Bears, let’s take a look at newcomers. Coinmarketcap has added several tokens. Some of them already have a rank and a market cap.

Haven Protocol (XHV)

Haven claims to be an untraceable cryptocurrency with a mix of standard market pricing and stable fiat value storage without an unsustainable peg or asset backing. It has a smart contract called Offshore Storage. In short, sending Haven to offshore storage (burning) records a reference on the blockchain to the current fiat value which can be restored later back into Haven by minting new coins to the tune of the current fiat value. Sounds like an attempt to substitute USDT tokens using smart contracts instead of backing your tokens with real fiat currency.

• Has a good 24h volume of $1 526 690 and is traded on TradeOgre and Nanex.
• Twitter is alive, but has only 1,5k followers.
• Website is not pretty good. According to the roadmap they don’t even have their offshore feature implemented yet.
• The project doesn’t have a telegram group. This is the first time I see this. They have discord though.
• I don’t see any profiles on ICO hubs.
• Has 25 pages of discussion on bitcointalk. It looks like thread is mostly used to talk about mining this token.

I don’t like this project. People in crypto need safe places like USDT, but this one looks strange. Their main feature is not implemented yet. There is no hype at all. At the same time it has rank 515 on CMC and market cap of $10m. The price is actually growing slowly. I will not consider it as investment candidate until it hits a good exchange and implements their key feature.

CryCash (CRC)

Crycash is a cryptocurrency for gamers and game developers. They are aiming to provide several services: mobile application where players can monetize their game time; a marketplace for in-game assets and services; Cyber Sport platform for eSports betting and events; Advertising Platform for game developers. Great plans, I wonder if they will be able to deliver all this.

• Has a tiny volume of $51 877 and is listed on IDEX, Livecoin and YoBit. For me YoBit is a red flag because of constant pump and dump schemas.
• Twitter account is not very active and has only 1k. Also it claims project has rating of 4.3 on ICObench, when it has only 4.0.
• Website looks good. It claims they are negotiating with top exchanges (wonder if it true).
• Telegram is also small has only 3k members.
• Has solid rating of 4.0 on ICObench, but from only 1 expert and a bot. I don’t trust the rating if there are less than 5 experts involved.
• Has only 8 pages on Bitcointalk. Discussion can’t be called positive. Had no bounty or airdrops as I see.

Gaming is a great industry for cryptocurrency mass adoption. This project aims to provide several great service, but will it? I don’t see any good progress. The projects goes unnoticed. It is listed on minor exchanges and YoBit, a trap exchange. I can’t trust this token and I will stay away.

Effect.AI (EFX)

Another AI project that will run on NEO blockchain. It aims to create three platforms: marketplace for tasks that require human intelligence; decentralized registry of AI services; distributed computational platform that can run popular deep learning frameworks. I’m not an expert in AI and it is difficult for me to understand if these guys are actually doing something useful and how different it is from other AI cryptos. At least it fails to describe this.

• Has an ok volume of $435 684 and is listed on Switcheo Network.
• Twitter is ok and has 10k members. CMC doesn’t have a link to it though.
• I wasn’t able to open the website due to some reason.
• Telegram has 23k members and a positive discussion.
• Has an average rating on 3.6 on ICObench from 5 experts. $13m were collected on ICO.
• Has 32 pages of mostly positive discussion on bitcointalk. Had a bounty/airdrop.

It’s hard for me to tell how good/bad the project is. For now it is traded at ICO price, has rank 464 on CMC and market cap of $13 700 112. I strongly believe that nowadays AI related project should clearly state why it is better than competitors or have a working product. This one doesn’t fulfil my requirements. I will ignore this project.

FintruX Network (FTX)

FintruX is yet another lending platform on blockchain. It aims to make unsecured loans highly secure using their two decades of experience serving the securitization sector.

• Has a tiny 24h volume of $55 002 and is traded on Bancor Network and Qryptos.
• Twitter is ok, but has only 3,5k followers.
• Website is nothing special, but still informative.
• Telegram group has 13k members.
• Has a low rating of 3.3 on ICObench from 18 experts. Collected $25m on token sale.
• There are 158 pages on discussion on bitcointalk. On the last pages people are complaining the project couldn’t list n any exchange for 3 month. 4% of tokens were used on bounty. Seems a little bit too much for me, but any bounty below 5% is ok. It also had an airdrop.

I am against landing in general. I don’t think it is a good use of blockchain. Government regulators are mostly skeptical as well. This project has rank 487 on CMC and market cap of $12 022 337. The price is dropping currently. I don’t think this projects is worth my attention.
