Ripple eyed by Dutch central bank as an excellent payment solution. Rabobank Group from the Netherlands have confiemd they’ve started testing with Ripples interledger solution, most likely Xcurrent.

Gazprombank, one of the largest banks in all of Russia is conducting cryptocurrenty solution tests in Switzerland. It’s interesting because the bank has noted the primary reason for this is demand from users. They’ll be developing a small scale blockchain based payment and transaction service before trying to scale the project. Switzerland has some of the most friendly regulations in the world for cyptocurrency and was on obvious choice for the bank.

IBM getting serious about crypto. IBM has been meeting with executives from commodities trading platforms, large corporations, and looking for demand for digital asset issuance. This information coming from jesse lund, the cryptocurrency development strategist. Lund further said they want to expand the business applicatiosn of cryptocurrency. Lund has met with 20 central banks exploring the concept in the last year.
