Do you have a strategy to address FOMO?
Would you recommend something like committing yourself to keep the investment for a certain period (e.g. 1-3 years) after you did your research?
It also seems a difficult to combine with the cut your losses recommendation. It often happens that a good long-term investment starts with a decrease of value in the short-term as you want to buy the asset when it's cheap (on a downtrend). How does your "system in place" look like?
Yes it really depends on the situation, but basically if you are able to hold for 3 years you are good
