Bitcoin Is Dying Will GPU Pricess Go Down?

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago

Bitcoin has now officially reached $8,700 this all happens after the crypto giant hit $20,000 less than a month ago. Alot of gamers are questioning if this will allow GPU prices to go down but the truth is it wont. You see nobody really mines bitcoin anymore people only mine the alt coins because you can still profit off of those due to the fact you're mining a coin under $5 that could potentially reach $100. I do see GPU prices dropping back to late 2017 prices but they will not drop down to what we had before the crypto boom unless you buy second hand.

It is rumoured that Nvidia is going to make a special card for mining which if that comes to be fact we could see a large drop in prices but we are still atleast a year away from having GPU prices back down to normal. If you are looking to upgrade your GPU in the near future you'd be better off to buy a pre-built gaming pc where the price for the full rig is now cheaper than the card itself and you could make a profit off of the other parts inside the PC!
