SKYFchain (SKYFT) ICO short review

In this article I will present you SKYFchain, a project currently at pre-ICO stage. My analysis is based on some basic criteria, which can be found below.

Idea

SKYFchain is a blockchain based B2R (Business-to-Robots) operating platform, which essentially aims to innovate the industry of robotic delivery using blockchain.

Overall

The hard cap is pretty high for the current market conditions and also the maximum bonus is 40%, which I think is pretty high as well and could lead to a potential dump when listed.

Roadmap

The roadmap is very long term orientated, but also very vague, so if you are an investor waiting for short term releases, you might be disappointed.

Team

Advisors

The team and advisers are decent, but I couldn't find anything worth mentioning in their past experience. What I like is that they have covered all necessary departments needed in order to make the project succeed.

Prototype

They already have a working product, which they developed between 2014 - 2017 in form of a drone that's capable of transporting 400 kg and has a flight autonomy of 8 hours.

Token utility

SKYFT tokens will be required for any transaction inside SKYFchain. A user requests a transaction in SKYFchain and pays securely in fiat money through his smart contract. After that, SKYFchain acquires SKYFT tokens from a crypto exchange to execute the transaction.

Competition

There is currently no direct competition in this space, but there are other similar projects that aim to revolutionize the transport industry by utilizing blockchain technology.

Hype

Telegram has about 3.000 users and their Twitter account has about 3.200 followers, which is below average. Their presence on other social media channels is actually pretty high and this could be determined by the high rating from ICObench.com, which rated the project with 4,8/5, thus creating a lot of hype around it. https://icobench.com/ico/skyfchain

Overall conclusion

SKYFchain has an interesting idea and a working product, which created a lot of hype around it, but the roadmap is very long term orientated and the team lacks superstars, which makes me think if they will actually manage to make this project succeed long term.

Final grade: 3,56/5 (decent)
