Microsoft drops Bitcoin as a payment method.

Microsoft no longer lists Bitcoin in its payment instructions. They are perhaps one of the biggest institutions to make this change. The reason why they've dropped it likely has to do with the slow transactions and high transfer fees. Hopefully this opens a golden opportunity for an alt-coin or two that can be quicker and cheaper.

Its likely. Litecoin is rumored to be picked up by Amazon as well. Perhaps when the lightning network comes out.
