However, upon building our own configuration on the Ethereum blockchain with our own proprietary protocols, we realized the potential to provide offerings far beyond altcoins. The Amalgam protocol implements the Zero-knowledge proofs as a means of unparalleled data security. The security mechanism allows users to validate and approve transactions without having to reveal data.

Starting in November 2018, the token's value will go from an ETH correspondence to a dynamic protocol to match its own team-developed index. This index safeguards Amalgam's value by equal-weighted and reflective of over 300 of the world’s most frequently traded cryptocurrencies available on the market. This allows Amalgam to be valued by its demand as an asset, its transactional frequency, and the overall health of the cryptocurrency market.
