Regarding the visual glitch, reported it a while ago & it's being worked on: https://github.com/bitshares/bitshares-ui/issues/1317
Man that's a relief to hear for my 14 inch LCD :) Thanks for reporting that.
No worries, if you've ever got a problem with the UI please do consider raising an issue on the github repo - it'll likely be fixed quite quickly.
