So, John McAfee tweeted this about IOTA today and he got a response from David Sønstebø:

I'm not really sure why he would try to talk down IOTA saying MS bought them and about the slow growth rate, it might be because it's not on blockchain and he invested a lot into blockchain crypto.
He's a great businessman and I don't want to write about his personal life but he might be causing fear, uncertainty and doubt just for his own profit.
