Can I Get A Whales Upvote???
This is a test to see if it is true the hype of steemit whales and their ability to direct the attention of thousands of users by using their popularity outside the network to engage votes here!
Prove to me that you can make that haplen by upvoting this post and telling me your honest intentions with using the steemit network in the comments below!
P S i am a new cryptocurrency blogger who decided to give steemit a shot, but so far it seems that popularity does NOT come from quality content as everyone seems to tout.

Yea, some people make really thought out posts & I see them make .16c while some make posts about waiting in line & it makes hundreds of dollars lol. I am not hating, just wish quality content can be found easier :)
Definitely. Thats my whole point in maki g this post. I believe my content should be seen and many others who never get noticed. Gems that could change lives are hidden in a pot of shit stirring around while a random thing gets the limelight. Seems a lot like gov.t manipulation to me
You have to start small. As we all know the small fish so all the work for little payout until they been big fish. I am SLOWLY moving up but that alright because before steemit I wasn't making anything off my posts. Just keep working it.
Interesting viewpoint. Although last year when steemit came out, i witnessed first hand a well known youtube guy create an account and get upvoted 15000$ on his first post or 2. He was able to not only get the votes but have all his followers sign up for their own steemit accounts in order to vote him.

I would wager, just like in the case of jeffbanfield, that the person you mentioned had many followers before making that first post. I mean to say that he likely had followers outside of steemit that he was advertising to before coming to steemit. Also remember that he most likely did not start as a minnow. If you have money to throw toward steem you will definitely rise faster here.

True, with some exceptions, most of the top bloggers aren't putting out quality. They just developed a devout following. And they dont even always post the same kind of stuff... some are totally random, like craig.
My exact point! People with truly useful or helpful content should get more viewers!
Be consistent and you are going to get there.

Ya i really am interested to see who responds because i believe every bit of quality content should receive equal attention on the internet not just the popular people's content. Downvote if you disagree, but there really should be a more level playing field!
If thats not the case then its no better than the mass media just with a different governing authority who manipulates everything for their own gain
