Didn't know about Electroneum update I mean I love the fact you can mine it on your phone but there are so many coins and the value is so stinking low at the moment. Are there really any usecases for it ?
Their target is mobile users, trying to make crypto as easy as possible to use globally. they have partnered with some undisclosed telecom companies and will be integrating their payment app. They are focussing on the tech for now, and after that they will focus on marketing.
That would be all well and good however it can be mined on computers as well which makes a cell phone totally obsolete. I do run mine over night though while sleeping but its getting to the point where its not worth it.

What u get with your phone is an already premined coin as a way of saying thank you for using ETN. In essence you are not doing an actual mining.
