Tether has more competition now, with 2 further #Stablecoins being authorised recently. #Gemini and #Paxos will provide a 1:1 USD backed crypto coin which will be available for trading and exchanging on most major exchanges on a 24/7 basis.
Adoption will be challenging for both these coins considering they are new and not as established as #tether but the fact that both companies are formed as #trusts implies that their priority will always be to put their clients first. With auditing being done on a regular basis and with prominent audit firms, the future looks bright for these stablecoins, and ultimately the increased competition within this space in crypto can only ensure a better experience overall for traders, investors and whales.
