Hello steemians,

Today, this is not really a coin that i'm going to introduce to you but many coins with a particularity : they got (or they will have) masternode technology.

Many of these coins are very hyped these days because masternode, on the paper, should drive the price up of the coin for two main reasons :

  • To create a masternode, you need to have a certain amount of coin. It can be 1000, 10000, 100000 ... depends of the coin. The coin you need to have will be locked in your wallet to create the masternode and will give you some good rewards.

  • The coin are locked, they dissapear from the market --> more coin lock --> less coin available --> more people want masternode --> more coin are locked --> price up --> a nice "cercle vertueux" (sorry don't know how it's named in english, righteous circle i guess)

You can easily understand why many coins try to integrate this technology. It's an easy catch for investor who think running a masternode will make them rich.

In the reality, it's very different because you have to make some research to know how much profit you will take from running a masternode and how much time it will take to regain the initial invest.

And with the crazyness around some masternode coin (like Chaincoin who just goes to +200k satoshi and took a deep fall to under 20k yesterday), it can be really tricky to invest.

So today, i wanted to share with you some coin who got this masternode technology, how much coin you will need to run the masternode. I did not put an average cost on it because price move every day but did list them into three category.

It's impossible to list them all but i did my best to regroupe some useful information :
