Agree completely, but there is something to be said for using said regulations to placate the masses into seeing that crypto is indeed the future and jumping on the bandwagon and once there - seeing how governments have been holding it back...
We may need "approval" to help achieve that "critical mass" that would allow us to ignore entirely in the future.
