Hello Steemit,

I showed you in my last post how to buy and sell Bitcoin with coinbase, I now want to show you how to trade the bitcoin with others crypto-coins than Ethereum and Litecoin. The goal of this first post is to show you how to bring bitcoin in Bittrex to trade this currency with others.

What is Bittrex?

It is a crypto trading platform where you can find many coins. Be aware there aren’t all coins existing ! With a trading platform, you can exchange bitcoin with other crypto coins. The first step is to create an account, nothing complicated but just in case you can find steps here:

• Go on bittrex: https://bittrex.com
• Click on login then sign-up
• Put your email address, and create a password
• Agree with “Terms of Service” and click on sign-up
• You will receive an email, validate your account with the link attached to it
• If you have the message “Email verification successful” so your account is created =)

How to add coins in Bittrex from another wallet?

Here, I will bring Bitcoin from the wallet coinbase. First log in Bittrex, then go on your wallet:

From this page, you can see all your coin. Search the coin you are looking for, here Bitcoin:

I already have 0.00617677 bitcoin.
Click on the “+” button on the left of your currency. The bittrex address appears, this address is only for the currency you choose. If it is the first time you do a transaction with this money, you need to generate a new address. Copy the address:

All transactions done into this address will arrive in your bittrex wallet. For example, if someone wants to send me bitcoins (it's just an assumption x) ), he can do it with the address : 1D27Tdak8SsoHhYfCyZB57rxuRy7JVLEPm. If you send other currency to this itcoin address, money will get lost. So be careful 😉

Then go on your wallet which contains Bitcoins. For me it’s coinbase, go on “send” tab:

Put the bittrex address in “Recipient”. Fill “Amount” with the value of bitcoin you want to bring in Bittrex. Be aware there is a fee here.

Then click on “Send funds” and successful message will appear:

Then you must wait, for this transaction I waited almost 30 minutes before it comes in Bittrex so don’t worry if it takes time. Then return bittrex and check in “PENDING DEPOSIT” in your wallet:

It should appear here. Sorry it was too fast for this transaction so I couldn’t take a screenshot. But sometimes it could be long as well.

After few minutes, just check your bitcoin wallet:

I have now 0.02050867 bitcoin, so it worked :p

Dans mon dernier post je vous montre comment acheter et vendre des Bitcoin sur coinbase. Je voudrais maintenant vous montrer comment échanger ces bitcoins avec d'autres cryptos que l’Ethereum et le Litecoin qui sont les seules présentes sur coinbase. Je vous propose donc la platform de trading Bittrex. Il en existe beaucoup d’autres mais personnellement je préfère celle-là. Le but de cette première publication est de vous montrer comment transférer vos bitcoins dans Bittrex =).

Qu'est-ce que Bittrex ?

C'est une platform de crypto-trading où vous pouvez trouver un très grand nombre de crypto, soyez conscient qu’elles n’y sont pas toutes, on est parfois obligé d’aller sur d’autres platforms comme bitfinex par exemple. Pour faire simple dans une platform de trading, vous pouvez échanger vos bitcoins contre d'autres monnaies.
La première étape consiste à créer un compte, rien de compliqué mais je vous mets les étapes au cas où pour s’inscrire :

• Aller sur le lien : https://bittrex.com
• Cliquez sur « Log in » puis sur « sign up »
• Mettez votre adresse e-mail et créez un mot de passe
• Acceptez " Terms of Service " et cliquez sur « sign up »
• Vous recevrez un mail, validez votre compte avec le lien qui lui est joint
• Si vous avez le message “Email verification successful" alors votre compte est créé =)

Comment ajouter des crypto-monnaies sur Bittrex à partir d'un autre wallet ?

Ici, je vais apporter du Bitcoin à partir de coinbase. Connectez-vous d'abord Bittrex, puis allez dans « wallet »:

Dans cette page, vous trouverez toutes les monnaies échangeable avec la quantité que vous possédez pour chacune d'entre elle. Recherchez la crypto qui vous intéresse :

J'ai déjà 0,00617677 bitcoin. Mais on en veut plus, cliquez alors sur le bouton "+" à gauche de votre crypto. Si c'est la première fois que vous effectuez une transaction avec cette monnaie, vous devez d’abord générer une nouvelle adresse. Copiez l'adresse :

Cette adresse représente votre portefeuille Bitcoin. Toutes les transactions effectuées à destination de cette adresse arriveront dans votre portefeuille bittrex. Par exemple, si quelqu'un veut m'envoyer des bitcoins (ce n'est qu'une supposition x) ), il peut le faire avec l'adresse ci-dessus : 1D27Tdak8SsoHhYfCyZB57rxuRy7JVLEPm. En revanche si vous envoyez une autre cryto sur cette adresse bitcoin, l'argent sera perdu. Donc attention, prenez la bonne adresse correspondant à la bonne cryptomonnaie 😉.

Allez sur votre portefeuille Bitcoins. Dans mon cas coinbase, allez dans l'onglet "Send":

Placez l'adresse bittrex dans "Recipient". Remplissez "Account" avec la valeur en bitcoin que vous souhaitez transférer sur Bittrex.

Ensuite, cliquez sur "Envoyer des fonds" :

Bon malheureusement vous allez devoir attendre un peu, par exemple pour cette transaction, j'ai attendu près de 30 minutes avant qu'il apparaisse sur Bittrex, alors ne vous inquiétez pas si cela prend du temps. Ensuite, retournez sur bittrex et vérifiez le "PENDING DEPOSIT" dans votre portefeuille :

Votre transaction devrait apparaître ici. Bon je vous pris de m’excuser, la transaction a été plus rapide que prévu après ces 30 minutes d’attente, donc je n’ai pas eu le temps de prendre une capture d'écran. Mais parfois, il peut rester coincé plusieurs minutes dans "PENDING DEPOSIT". Donc toujours pareil pas d’inquiétude.

Après quelques minutes, vérifiez simplement votre porte-monnaie bitcoin :

J'ai maintenant 0.02050867 bitcoin, donc ça a marché :p
