Crypto Currencies Series - Things to Know about IOTA
Hi Steemians,
I am posting in continuation of my Crypto Currency Series and $IOTA will be the topic for this post. I have started this Crypto Currencies Series and purpose of this Series is to enlight all steemians about different cryptos that I feel good. As most of new Crypto Enthusiats don't know much about different coins besides bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple, so this series will be helpful for all of them to know more about the crypto world.
IOTA (Open Source Distributed Ledger) is the Coin of This Post
IOTA aka Internet of Things is the latest technology that will overcome the flaws of current blockchain system introducing new ways for peer to peer system. We can send and receive money without any transaction fees in decentralized wnvironment.
IOTA foundation is based is Germany and it is a Non-Profit organization. The main purpose of foundation is to research on latest technologies in blockchain ecosystem as well as make it possible for the adoption of IOTA into Real World.
MARKET CAP AND 24 HOUR VOLUME
IOTA has a very good market capitalization of about 6 Billion USD. If we look at last 24 hours volume of IOTA, it is more than $99 Millions which is great and you must consider this one for trading. This is currently trading at price of $2.13
Coins Supply
Whenever you decide to pick a coin for long term or even short term trade, you must have a look on coins supply. IOTA has a total supply of 2.77 Billion and all the coins supply is circulating in market. As maximum supply is in the market, there is very good chance that the price of IOTA will increase in coming months.
