Ripple is ground breaking with it's cross platform payment, as well (https://gist.github.com/emschwartz/fd66ecb66d761ebaf545ea600c9e26a7). The big question is, will the majority of banks embrace a centralized company that holds such a high percentage of the tokens.
i think so. if a lot of bank use it they are going to need a lot of tokens
It's a good way to stabilize the XRP.
