Binance, one of the largest crypto exchanges in the world, is under scrutiny by the Japanese government for operating without a license. According to sources, the Japanese government is planning to tell the company to stop operating in the country. According to Binance, the two are "engaged in constructive dialogue".

Bitcoin reacted to the news by dropping below $9,000 once again.

If there wasn't any FUD then it just wouldn't be a normal day in crypto. Oh well, the good news coming out of China and from the SEC more than cancels this out!

Very true...and it's a skittish bunch as of right now. Time will even out the wrinkles...and hopefully more institutional investments will take away the wild swings in the future.
