In Belarus, the standard of accounting crypto-currency will be introduced

Belarus is actively moving towards becoming one of the leading countries in the blockchain and the cryptosphere.

On the eve of the entry into force of the Presidential Decree No. 8 "On the Development of the Digital Economy", another important document was signed by the President - the National Standard of Accounting and Reporting "Digital Signs (Tokens)".

Now all the tokens received by the organization are accepted for accounting, depending on the way in which they are received.

Tokens obtained by mining must be accounted for by the debit of the "Finished Products" account, and digital coins purchased on the exchange account for debits of "Long-term or short-term financial investments" accounts. If the Crypto-currency is bought for subsequent sale, then they pass through the debit of the "Goods" account.

Also, the official document identifies approaches to the evaluation of tokens and provides information on which accounting information in dealing with digital currencies is subject to disclosure.
