Crypto-Tuesday - Our crypto vacation fund

Being active on the cryptocurrency market is sometimes fun and sometimes hard (like this January). But however the market is moving, it's more fun to share it with your partner and not just watch the numbers change but pull some of the hopefully profits out to make your life better. This is why my girlfriend @migratorybird and I started a crypto-vacation-fund. Early december 2017 both of us threw 500€ in (which were 1175USD) and we'll see where that brings us. I'll show you what Coins we invested in and how our portfolio is developing.

On Dec 8th we transfered 1175$ to the exchanges and diversified into the following assets:

• 91 PAY (TenX)
• 1,930 ETN (Electroneum)
• 532 ADA (Cardano)
• 1.61 LTC (Litecoin)
• 55 MIOTA (IOTA)

During the next four weeks we did some trades - I can't reconstruct all. From now on I will write them down. But these past trades included the following:

• 800 ETN -> 30 PBL (about 66.30$)
• 50 PAY -> 1.4885 LTC -> 70 PAY
• 50.5 PAY -> 1.5766 LTC -> 0.3883 ETH (about 372$)
• 55 MIOTA -> 94 XRP (about 250$)

Ok, how does our portfolio look like now?

Volatile, probably like yours, too ;).

ETH is now the biggest part. And if we'd just buy and hold ETH, we would be off far better. But that would be less fun probably. ADA, ETN and PAY are in green, too. XRP is of course the looser of the month. More details next time. By the way "other" is Publica (PBL) down to about 40$ value. Meh.

We were below our starting point for about 1 hour during the biggest correction. But most of the time in green. Right now we're at 1,460$ which means +285$ from our initial investment. Not enough for a vacation yet.
