I believe that, as in all great innovations before, it will have those who oppose it because either it's too new, or it goes against their interests.

The IMF already acknowledged it's a loosing battle against it. Either because they found a way to monetize it, either because they realized it will be a long-term benefit for everyone (including themselves).

Either way, crooked and corrupt powers of the dying banking system will fight against it as they have too much to loose. But since such an institution as the IMF recognized it's better not to fight the future, I doubt they will win.

It's just a matter of time.
