The new operating system of the Web 3.0 - EOSTEEM!

The past days (especially after my recent article about EOS vs STEEM vs bitShares) I was reading and discussing a lot about the pros and cons of EOS and STEEM.
Many people seem to believe, that EOS is the next cool shit and STEEM will be obsolete in the near future - they seem to see them as competition. Others simply want to go with what already works and don´t trust the huge amount of money flowing into EOS, without even the proof of any of their claims yet.
What I finally came up with is, that neither is true....

The concept of the OS for the Web 3.0

First watch this genius video of @marketingmonk that explains the OS model behind EOS:

It´s the best description of EOS I´ve ever watched.
If you see EOS as the OS layer of the blockchain, on which dApps can be produced, then you can also understand, that STEEM can be the same for the social web!
In fact, they work together like a match made in heaven.
Especially with the introduction of Smart Media Tokens and therefore opening the STEEM blockchain for other social apps, STEEM can be the twin brother of EOS - one for the social web and the other for everything else (incl. gaming).

You see - they work together with different goals in mind - for a great future of the Web 3.0!

Sort:

that is a really good description of it and certainly believe that is the vision over anything else. Dan and company would not create this and bitshares and then make it obsolete or compete it with EOS. He wants all three to coincide

Thank you and I hope so too! In Dan we trust!^^

I have been watching EOS for awhile now and have wanted to buy some tokens for quite some time. However, I keep seeing that Americans are discouraged from buying this token, and I'm an American.

Is there any reason why I should not invest?

This discouragement is only because EOS is technically only in its ICO phase until June and US citizens are not allowed to participate in ICOs afaik.
But you can buy EOS on many exchanges.
I can´t tell you, if you should invest, since I´m not a financial advisor, but I see no reason why you shouldn´t.
Watch some EOS vids (especially this one), educate yourself and enjoy to be part of an awesome community that is building the internet of the future. :)
