MinerGate Series - What is MinerGate?
Mining Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies may sound Simple to You but it is a Complex Process which most of us will fail to understand Completely. Even if you Buy Mining Hardware connecting them to the Mining Pools require some Technical Expertise which not everybody has.
Although some Companies are trying to make Mining easier for the Everyday public. One of those Companies is MinerGate.
What is MinerGate?
Minergate is an Open Mining pool where Peoples add their Computing power/ Hash power to thousands of others. The User Interface of MinerGate is easily Downloadable from there website and is easy to setup Too. It allows you to Mine Cryptocurrencies almost Immediately after you Install the MinerGate Software.
Mobile Miner
MinerGate also has a Mobile Miner which allows you to Mine Cryptocurrencies Via Smartphone but let's be real even the Latest Smartphone will not Provide Sufficient Hashrate for Mining to be Profitable. But its good to know that such feature Exists.
User Interface
As I said Mining Cryptocurrencies is a Complex Process but with MinerGate it is a lot more Simpler as their Interface is the Simplest Out there.

Really good, I have installed MinerGate on multiple computers and it is very effective - you aren't going to get rich quick with CPU mining but a good GPU will fly and the software is intelligent enough to reduce has rate when you are using your computer and increase it when it is idle.

Yeah, that is True but MinerGate is not all that Transparent about their Operations.
There are several Positives but they do have some Negatives about them too.
I will point out the Negatives in my Last Post.

I have been passively mining on Minergate for a couple of weeks now. And I've made a whopping .20 cents! I know I'm not going to make any decent money from my Nvidia Geforce 550ti gpu. But something is better than nothing when you are learning about all of this.
And yeah, I'm wasting money by running my pc 24/7. But it would be running 24/7 in game anyway, so why not make something back for it. All in all, I dig the Minergate desktop app. The mobile app isn't available for iPhone and I don't have an Android.
Please don't tell me you are Mining Bitcoin or Ethereum on Minergate.
Try Mining Monero or Bytecoin these are the Most Profitable Coins to Mine.
And its the case with me too my Desktop runs 24/7 so why not mine something on the Side.
I have been mining Monero merged with Fantomcoin. But have yet to get a payout from it. I get 15 h/s mining Monero. And just unconfirmed balances on all coins except for Ether. Ethereum has been the only one that pays anything out to me. I get around 200 kh/s mining Ether.
I get around 250 Hashes while mining Monero and it does pay me out nicely.
But 15 Hashes for Monero Mining that's a bit Low. What CPU do you have?
I'm actually pulling close to 30 h/s with my i3 4 core processor. Yes, it's a weak lil dinosaur. lol

Which set of computers are you using to mine? Looks like we need constant power supply and reliable internet connection.
I use a Basic i7 Chipset Processor with AMD Radeon RX 470 Graphics Card. As for Power supply, i have a 1000W Power Supply.
You don't need a High Speed Internet Connection for it a Normal Broadband or Fiber Cable network will do the Work just FIne.
I'm not sure how many of them burnt the laptops and mobiles trying to mine :) I tried Minegate long back and the UI was amazing but couldn't mine in laptop due to limited hash power. I didn't wanted to damage my office laptop ;)
It's not like that you must have had it a bit Wrong. You need to mine those Cryptocurrencies that are Suitable for your laptop.
My Laptop is 12 Years Old and I still mine Bytecoin in it via MinerGate.
ByteCoin Monero these are the Coins you should be Mining if your Rig is weak.
Minergate is great for beginners who just want to get their feet wet and learn how mining works.
