An upcoming project "Experty" - "Calls powered by Cryptocurrencies"

Hello Steemians

I only started noticing cryptocurrencies several months ago and have been very interested by the topic.

I noticed an interesting project "Experty" recently, with the words
"Calls powered by Cryptocurrencies"
on the top of the website and wanted to let you know about it.

Essentially, Experty strives to create a efficient platform where "Knowledge providers" and "Advice seekers" can benefit significantly - Meaning a platform where "Knowledge providers" can better monetize their skills, and "Advice seekers" getting better quality and potentially instant advice in an affordable manner.

That probably more or less summaries one of its main use cases, and there are other use cases that it can bring on its platform. I created the drawing below incorporating the Experty logo

The Experty Logo looks like 2 speech bubbles connecting. I interpret the logo as follows: One speech bubble represents the question from the "Advice seeker" and the other speech bubble represents the answer from the "Knowledge provider". The Speech bubbles are connected because the Knowledge provider's answer meets the requirements of the Advice seeker's question.
If the project is carried out successfully, the potential of this project can be amazing, and a lot of people will know about it, even in "Space" - hence the drawing of the astronaut.

Before I go on to explain more about it, just want to include a Disclaimer. I am not a financial advisor and hence please do not take any part of this post as financial advice. I created this post because I am interested in cryptocurrency and would like you to know about it so that we can learn together. In addition, there is a "Proof of Caring" concept where Experty provides incentives to people who spread the word about "Experty". Therefore, I will try to be as objective as I can, and you must perform your own due diligence and make your own decision to see if it is suitable for you.

So now that is out of the way, lets go through the main problem that Experty is trying to solve

WHAT PROBLEM DOES IT SOLVE?

As a "Advice Seeker" , you probably have experienced a problem of this nature before:

You paid a lot for the advice, or rather you paid more than you had expected for the advice - and worst of all the advice wasn't even relevant or useful. Sometimes, you may even need to pay in advance before you receive the advice.
You wasted a lot of time looking for the "Expert", and couldn't get your advice in a timely manner etc.

As a "Knowledge Provider", you probably have experienced a problem of this nature before:

You have the expertise, but you don't have the client base so you have to go through an intermediary who takes a substantial commission.
You prepared and spent a lot of effort to provide advise for your client but your clients don't pay you on time.

That is where Experty comes in to solve most of the issues faced by "Advice Seekers" and "Knowledge Providers". Experty seeks to provide a platform where "Advice Seekers" can find "Knowledge Providers" easily. On the platform, "Knowledge Providers" will be providing the rate at which they charge per minute of consultation. At the end of the call, the "Knowledge Providers" is paid based on the duration of the call.

There are more details involved, but essentially the problem solved is as follows:

"Advice Seekers" have easier access to "Knowledge Providers", less time wasted in finding "Knowledge Providers"
"Advice Seekers" know what they are going to pay as they know the rate upfront, and they can choose the "best" expert that meets their budget.
"Advice Seekers" can request for a refund if the "Knowledge Providers" does not meet his/her requirement.
"Knowledge Providers" don't have to go through an intermediary who may charge a high commission
"Knowledge Providers" will have a great certainty of receiving the payment after providing advice.

SOME TOKEN INFORMATION: EXPERTY (EXY)

Maximum supply: 100 Million EXY
Maximum cap: 9000 ETH
Contribution Rate: 1 Ethereum (ETH) = 1000 EXY
Minimum Contribution: $1000 or 1.5ETH

Some thoughts on the above:

Maximum supply of 100 Million seems reasonable, given that Bitcoin's Max supply is 21 Million and Ethereum's circulating supply is close to 100 Million.
Maximum cap of 9000 ETH is quite low at the moment, which may be a good and a bad thing. The good thing is that the project is not asking for a huge amount of capital (relatively speaking). In fact, Experty has sent out an email stating that the project is already oversubscribed based on the interest in the Proof of Caring Portal - this shows that there is a high support for this project and that is a good sign. The downside of this is that since there is a lot of demand, it will be difficult to purchase the EXY on the Pre-ico. In fact, I don't think I might even be able to purchase any EXY given the high demand.
The EXY is linked to ETH. 1 ETH equals 1000 EXY. At the current ETH price, 1 EXY is around 1.2 to 1.3 Dollars. The market cap is quite low and has space to grow.
Minimum contribution is 1000 Dollars, but when you register the minimum contribution is 1.5 ETH. Given the recent rise in ETH, 1.5 ETH exceeds 1000 Dollars by quite a bit. So will have to wait for more clarity on that. However, even 1000 Dollars is a lot of money, so you will definitely have to perform your own due diligence to see if you want to contribute such a large amount into this project

Additional thoughts

This idea will solve a lot of problems experienced by "Knowledge Providers" and "Advice Seekers", and the key is in the way it is implemented. If the platform has a great user interface and works efficiently then this project may see rapid growth in the number of its users.
